  Well I used to go to Bowen center I came in on my own... The lady doctor I would see Dr.Gree let me remind you I came there on my own right. Well the doctor wanted me to do therapy which I didn't need or want they just wanted to charge my insurance. I felt like they could care less about your problems or how you feel.. the doctor cut me down on my medicine after taking it for 5 months after I have told her the medicine isn't working can we please try something different. She told me No I don't even want to prescribe you what I'm prescribing you. And then had and attitude about what I asked And then I go to the next appointment and she cut me off my medicine because I didn't make my last therapy appointment. After I told her and the therapist lady I struggle with transportation. And was fine seeing me once a month. I missed two appointments They don't care and the therapist magen see. Cancel her appointment with me because she thought or thinks I cancelled because I didn't want to see her or go. Which that wasn't the case at all. I rescheduled had to go to the hospital. Right at that moment at the bowen center. That's when I felt it's that they just want to charge your insurance and could care less what you say just give medicine that doesn't work and then have the nerve to say you just want the medicine after I have asked multiple times to change me on something different that's the problem lady the medicine isn't working for me. The doctor always made me feel uncomfortable because she didn't care enough I've never seen a doctor get rude with you because you asked if can try different medications... I didn't know a doctor can just take your med away pass every drug screen and only miss 2 therapy appointment and tell you I'm not gonna see you anymore go somewhere else. Thats just all negative vibes at the bowen center...Let me tell you the therapist lady tells me in my last session with her that I know where you live I live down the road from you. That should of been hipp laws she was unprofessional and she should of kept that to her self. There was no reason to tell me that. And tells me my 2nd appointment with her thats she can't catch a break how the boss schedule her 7 to 8 people to see a day. That's your job hun not complain that you see these people that tell there whole life story to it's sad I never felt like the doctor truly cared or the therapist. I want ever go back or recommend it...

  The doctor I have for MAT does not care about my well being and continues to only push for me to be in Bowen Treatment/Therapy classes. I made it aware and was honest about my struggles instead of figuring the correct medication i was told I need classes. I suggest finding somewhere else where they will listen to you.

  I started going to The Bowen Center back in 2022… while I was REALLY struggling with my mental health. At first, it was very difficult for me to find the right therapy and medications that worked for me… it took about a year before I finally found the right psychiatrist… and of course, there was also a lot of trial and error with medications before I could even feel stable again. After finally finding a regimen that worked, I began to see a light at the end of my tunnel. I was doing well for about a year before they switched my psychiatrist to Dr Hani Ahmad. My initial meeting with Dr Ahmad was extremely brief and somewhat uncomfortable. He barely greeted me before he told me “I read through your file and believe that you have been misdiagnosed. I think that you’re extremely anxious from trauma and you just have a ton of PTSD.” Then he informed me that he would be discontinuing all the meds that I had been prescribed from my previous psychiatrist. …I pretty much begged him not to discontinue my Bipolar med after I had explained how long I struggled before I found a prescription that worked for me… and that I disagreed, stating that I did not believe that I had been “misdiagnosed”. He then said, “The previous psychiatrist that you were seeing is no longer here because she over-diagnosed and over-medicated patients. We are going to start from a new baseline and I am going to be discontinuing your meds.” I COULD NOT BELIEVE how insanely rude and inappropriate he was being, while discussing the performance of the other staff members there. The entire meeting lasted less than 10 minutes and it felt extremely unprofessional. It took me over a year to find out where my old psychiatrist was practicing and my mental health suffered significantly because of how quickly I was dismissed by Dr. Ahmad. I ended up having to call the facility for a referral in order to see my old psychiatrist at her new practice... and they refused to send one, stating that they weren’t able to because I hadn’t had a visit at The Bowen Center within a year. I will never go back there again for any kind of service. Ever.
