My friend came here to get help with housing. Leaving her abusive baby father while pregnant. And this company broke had an employee that broke HIPPA laws and put her life in danger and told her baby father her where abouts. They didn’t inform her once they were informed. They were going to act like it didn’t happened. Then began making excuses saying it’s he said she said when no one knew where she was at period. I’m disgusted with the behaviors from this company. I don’t recommend if you are looking for a group of staff that will care and respect your privacy. This is NOT the place. At the least respect privacy.

I am so disheartened by the way I was treated here. Especially towards the end of my stay. The Gas lighting, the disrespect, the constant gossip, indirect threats,and being treated like a stereotypical "angry Black woman" by certain staff. This program left me feeling low to the ground. If you decide to come here, and are multicultural, keep your head up and remember "Black is beautiful". A staff member by the name Anthony is one that made me feel heard, seen, respected, and valued. He even brought some of my favorite snacks to make me feel more comfortable (they have a weekly shopping trip). Shout out to the staff the donated me hair grease, baby oil, and a hair comb. I'm still sober and ready for the next stage in my life.
